Sagn Beverage Company is Norwegian based import company, distributing beers and other alcohols to both on- and off-trade. Sagn is specialized in bringing unique and craft brewed beers from around the world to the Norwegian market, with a focus on quality, history, great flavors and diversity to satisfy all beer enthusiasts.
A sagn (plural: sagn) is a short tale, often tied to specific places, people or events.
History
With a love for stories, good flavors and real beer joy, Jørn Idar Kvig started the import company Kräft Beer in 2023.
Jørn Idar has been an active profile in the Norwegian beer community for over a decade, as a beer writer, speaker, author and not least as responsible for the import of some of the world’s most famous breweries. Now he has focused on creating something unique and new, and the result was the beer import company Kräft Beer.
After two years of rapid growth the company changed its name to Sagn Beverage Commpany, to better reflect the values, location and ideas of the company.

The company has clear values from the very first day, based on years of experience:
- Sagn Beverage Company will work with privately owned breweries, and beers with a history and story.
- Sagn Beverage Company will work to ensure that beer once again has its natural place on the dinner table.
- Sagn Beverage Company will, as far as possible, contribute to a beer market that is a little more focused on the environment and sustainability. Either directly or indirectly, through its partnerships.
